Dokuchaev Residence

Dokuchaev Residence is a 2,690 sq ft family apartment in Moscow designed by Fruktov Interiors. The project combines classical interior architecture with contemporary art and collectible design, creating a calm and layered residential environment.

The apartment occupies a corner position with windows on three sides. Originally composed of three separate units, it was reconfigured as a single residence centered around a square living room with panoramic glazing.

Classical wall paneling, decorative moldings, and mirrored surfaces amplify the natural light. These architectural elements create a restrained framework for expressive furniture, artwork, and carefully selected materials.

The living room is organized around a marble fireplace and a sculptural seating composition. Marac sofas, Bernhardt coffee tables, GK Concept armchairs, and an Arteriors chandelier are paired with contemporary artwork by Sergey Bondarev and sculptural pieces by Taras Levko.

The dining area continues the spatial rhythm with a round table, Bernhardt chairs, and a sculptural chandelier. Custom cabinetry and glass partitions connect the dining room with the kitchen while maintaining visual depth. The Giulia Novars kitchen remains deliberately restrained, allowing its materials and proportions to take priority.

A softer palette defines the primary bedroom. Layered textiles, upholstered surfaces, and balanced lighting create an intimate atmosphere while preserving the architectural clarity found throughout the residence.

Dokuchaev Residence reflects the Fruktov Interiors approach to timeless residential design, balancing classical composition with contemporary art, collectible furniture, and custom architectural detailing.
