Interior Makeover Series 2013

Interior Makeover Series 2013 is a country-house transformation created by Fruktov Interiors for Dachny Otvet, a Russian television renovation program. The project was completed for a family near Moscow, where two underused rooms, a small dark kitchen and an adjacent unused space, needed to become one functional and welcoming living environment.

The design joined the kitchen and dining area into a single, open composition. New symmetrical openings improved the connection between the rooms, brought more light into the interior, and gave the space a clearer architectural order.

The material palette is warm, natural, and fresh. Light wood veneers, layered textures, and a soft olive-turquoise decorative finish create a calm Scandinavian-influenced atmosphere. Sculptural pinecone-shaped pendants add character above the dining table and connect the interior to the natural setting of the country house.

The result is a complete kitchen and dining space designed for daily family life, shared meals, and gatherings. What had been a dark kitchen and an unused room became a bright, practical, and emotionally warm center of the home.

As with every Dachny Otvet project, the family did not see the design before the final reveal. Fruktov Interiors developed the concept, selected materials and suppliers, coordinated its realization, and created the final interior within the time and budget constraints of a television production.
