Interior Makeover Series 2016

Interior Makeover Series 2016 documents a country-house transformation created by Fruktov Interiors for the NTV program Dachny Otvet, a Russian television format that renovates homes for families whose living spaces have remained unfinished or no longer support everyday life.

The family had moved into their house near Moscow but had lived for years with an incomplete primary bedroom and sitting area. The brief was to turn this unresolved space into a complete, restorative environment for family life, while also giving the homeowner, a practicing psychologist, a professional and considered background for online consultations.

Fruktov Interiors developed the concept from the first stage and led the project through design approval, supplier selection, construction coordination, custom details, styling, and the final presentation. As part of the television format, the family did not see the completed interior until the reveal.

The design introduces the quiet comfort of a boutique hotel into a private country home. A brass canopy frame gives the sleeping area architectural definition, while textured walls, soft textiles, and controlled indirect lighting create warmth and depth without visual excess.

A fireplace seating area adds a place to pause and gather. Across the room, a carefully composed work setting supports video calls and professional use without making the interior feel like an office. Light brass partitions separate functions while preserving continuity through the room.

The entire transformation was designed and realized within approximately six weeks. It demonstrates Fruktov Interiors’ ability to carry a residential project from a clear concept to a fully resolved interior under a demanding production schedule, without compromising proportion, material quality, or daily comfort.
