La Jolla Residence

La Jolla Residence is a coastal interior design project by Fruktov Interiors, shaped by light, curvature, and a seamless dialogue with the Pacific.

The architecture is defined by soft geometry, including curved walls, circular skylights, and rounded millwork. Together, these elements create a fluid spatial experience that unfolds toward the ocean. Floor-to-ceiling glazing frames uninterrupted sea views, while the interior volumes remain calm and controlled.

The material palette is intentionally restrained. Travertine, warm wood, natural stone, and textured plaster form a tactile foundation. Sculptural elements are integrated as architectural gestures rather than decoration. Freestanding art columns, carved volumes, and custom detailing reinforce a sense of quiet monumentality.

The dining area sits beneath a circular ceiling aperture, drawing daylight deep into the interior. The living space flows into a custom travertine bar and lounge zone, designed for both intimacy and openness. Every transition is softened, and every edge is considered.

The interior was conceived as a complete architectural composition. Spatial structure, custom cabinetry, lighting, and material precision work together to create clarity, continuity, and long-term comfort.

The result is a refined coastal residence that feels serene, tactile, and grounded in proportion, with architecture and nature existing in quiet equilibrium.
